While driving down a California desert road, Bob and Shirley argue over the decision to use this night to search for a cemetery. The coffin's inhabitant, "The Emperor", sits up to deliver an opening narration. Two muscle-bound men dressed in loincloths approach a crypt and open the doors, revealing a coffin. These predecessors mostly depicted actual stage performances, sometimes attached to a frame story.

It may change your whole outlook on the word "Orgy of the Dead".Orgy of the Dead is a 1965 erotic horror film directed by Stephen C. If you enjoy mindnumbing goodness check out this film. I'd say it's funny when it's not supposed to be as it is scary for all the wrong reasons. The acting is aweful and the plot doesn't seem to exist, which is right no par for this sexploitaion nightmare. Our Emperor watches the women each do a bit of a strip tease with his buddies the Mummy and the Wolfman while o ur young couple is forced to watch. As they are knocked out we see "the Emperor of the Night" rise from his grave and demand to see some entertainment from ten, well, I guess, you would call them ghosts but they really look like naked women. They are driving at night (even though you can plainly see sunlight) and crash thier car. The story centers around a couple driving to a graveyard so Bob can get some ideas for his next book. This was a bit of a different film from Wood, mostly know for his horror films this is some of the beginnings of his transition into, well porn. Stephens and written by the legend of film Ed Wood.
